Based on a rock solid WordPress platform, the site integrates payment processing through Authorize.net for secure payment processing. After purchasing, customers receive tickets via email so that they can print them at home. A QR Code is used for security to individualize each ticket. At the event, the tickets can be scanned in with a smartphone, allowing for the tracking of attendance as well as ensuring that tickets were paid for. Recently, MarketDriver Solutions was asked to perform a complete website redesign for a premium Cigar Shop located in Bedford, New Hampshire. Blowin’ Smoke Cigars was dissatisfied with their previous site as the design was dated. They also were frustrated by the fact that they depended on a vendor to make any and all updates to the site, causing delays in site updates.

Utilizing WordPress, a widely used, open source content management system, MarketDriver Solutions completely redesigned the Blowin’ Smoke’s website with a new look and feel as well as new site structure. Utilizing WordPress as a platform allows the owners of Blowin’ Smoke to update the content of the site regularly as they see fit, even from an iphone! In the Blog section, the owners can post frequent updates regarding events or happenings at the store and even announce promotions or sales. Using the portfolio section of the site, the owners can add photos and reviews of the cigars and accessories they carry. Both areas of the site allow for website visitors to add comments and have discussions, further increasing the traffic and return visits to the site.
